Dental Implants and Crowns
This patient couldn’t chew anything anymore. She was ready to do almost anything to be rid of the pain and be able to eat normally. Even dentures.
But nobody really wants dentures. They are notorious for being uncomfortable. They get lost. And the dog sometimes decides to steal them in the middle of the night for a chew toy.
Okay, at least this patient didn’t want dentures, and we assured her she didn’t need to worry. She had a healthy jaw and would be an excellent candidate for dental implants. Since implants act like the root of your natural teeth, your jaw remains healthy much longer than it would with dentures. And the crowns used on the implants act like natural teeth.
The treatment spanned a 3 month time period, and our patient had a totally new smile. She can eat anything she wants. Her teeth don’t hurt. And she absolutely loves her smile!
