PX3 Custom Mouthguards

Whether you’re a professional athlete or you just play sports to stay fit, you’re always looking to improve your game. But, training is only half the battle; you need the right tools to enhance your performance and to stay safe. Dr. Gary Alhadef is the only dentist in North Texas certified to help give you the competitive edge of PX3 Custom Mouthwear (sports mouthguards).

Why Use a PX3 Mouthwear?

Athletes depend on their bodies to help deliver superb results. Using a PX3 mouthguard does more than simply protect your teeth – it is specifically designed to enhance skeletal, respiratory, and physiological performance. PX3’s 3-D alignment technology restricts your jaw’s ability to slide out of the ideal position. The PX3 mouthguard effectively “locks” your jaw into place for maximum protection. Best of all, instead of restricting your breathing like most sports mouthguards, the PX3’s design actually opens airways for maximum airflow. The result: a more open airway for unobstructed breathing, for enhanced stability and flexibility, and for increased balance and strength.

PX3 is Not a Typical Mouthguard

This advanced technology is not the “boil and bite” mouthguard available in stores. In fact, you can’t even get a PX3 from your average dental professional. Only a select number of PX3-certified dentists can assess and custom fit your PX3. Dr. Gary Alhadef is one of only 30 dentists in North America with the advanced training and expertise to be PX3 certified, and the only certified dentist in North Texas.

Neuromuscular dentistry has shown that jaw alignment is fully connected to the way our bodies behave. Dr. Alhadef will find your proper bite by using a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (or TENS) unit to relax the muscles. He can then locate where your bite is most relaxed and design a PX3 mouthguard custom fit for you.

I love my PX3 – I have experienced huge benefits in my workouts as well as in golf. I definitely feel more balanced, strength, range of motion and endurance. It is very comfortable to wear and the benefits are immediate. My only regret is not having the PX3 when I was a running back in the NFL.
