10 Dallas Events to Catch in 2020

Go Big With These Fun Things to Do in Dallas, TX

When you live in Texas, you hear the declaration that “everything’s bigger in Texas” a lot—and we tend to think it’s pretty accurate. Texans love to go big, from the portion sizes at restaurants to the size of our cities. This rings true for Dallas, which is one of the largest and fastest growing cities in the U.S., so there’s always a new restaurant, activity, or event to try out. With the new year in full swing, there are plenty of exciting Dallas events starting in the coming weeks and months. Here are a few events you may want to catch near the start of 2020.

1. Dinosaurs Live

If you have young children who are in love with dinosaurs—or even animals in general—they’ll absolutely love this exhibit at the Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary. The exhibit is located on an easily walkable, half-mile nature trail and features 10 life-size animatronic dinosaurs. The dinosaurs, which are a mix of herbivores and carnivores, will thrill your little ones by moving and roaring. Your kids will also have the opportunity to do more than simply look; there are baby dinosaurs for your kids to play on and a new outdoor fossil dig that they can explore. The exhibit is already up and running and is open until February 17, so you can visit with your kids any time.
